Over 30 years experience in weight training. Competed in hundreds of run races and triathlons including Ironman Canada and Ironman New Zealand, Boston Marathon, and more. 

Registered with the BCRPA as a Personal Trainer since 2012.

He is a five time Hawaii Ironman finisher. Team BC/National Triathlon team member 1989.

Certified fitness instructor, coaches athletes ranging from: junior, age group to professional.

Helped athletes qualify for Boston Marathon and Hawaii Ironman.

Two years of experience specializing in strength and conditioning for junior to senior athletes. Currently training high school athletes to qualify for NCAA Division in schools in the US.

She is currently in the process of getting her sport science - Kinesiology diploma at Douglas and plans to transfer to SFU to receive her Kinesiology degree.

GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR/TRAINER
Over 25 years as a group fitness instructor. Certified in step, weight training and yoga/pilates. Avid runner who has completed close to 100 marathons, 75 half marathons and 7 ultramarathons.

​Favourite epic adventures with Freestyle Fitness include running the Grand Canyon, West Coast Trail and the Sunshine Coast Trail.

Yoga instructor
Christine is a 500 hr registered yoga teacher and 85 hr Ayurvedic yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance International.  She  studied Ayurveda with Melanie Phillips (The Madhuri Method) in Vancouver.  

Christine’s Yoga classes can be both serene and playful, as her passion for fitness and holistic wellness have brought her to a deep satisfaction with the combination of Yoga, Ayurveda, Reiki and Meditation.

Yoga instructor
Yoga and Pilates Instructor, Certified Yoga tune up teacher and a Ball Therapy Practitioner.

Heather's classes take a science and therapeutic based approach in which one can expect to: undo the stress your daily life; locate those blind spots in your body that are holding tightness and learn to strengthen and release muscles and tissue to work towards a pain free life. Through and environment of encouragement with a splash of laughter.
