Over 25 years as a group fitness instructor. Certified in step, weight training and yoga/pilates. Avid runner who has completed close to 100 marathons, 75 half marathons and 7 ultramarathons.
Favourite epic adventures with Freestyle Fitness include running the Grand Canyon, West Coast Trail and the Sunshine Coast Trail.
Christine is a 500 hr registered yoga teacher and 85 hr Ayurvedic yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance International. She studied Ayurveda with Melanie Phillips (The Madhuri Method) in Vancouver.
Christine’s Yoga classes can be both serene and playful, as her passion for fitness and holistic wellness have brought her to a deep satisfaction with the combination of Yoga, Ayurveda, Reiki and Meditation.

Heather's classes take a science and therapeutic based approach in which one can expect to: undo the stress your daily life; locate those blind spots in your body that are holding tightness and learn to strengthen and release muscles and tissue to work towards a pain free life. Through and environment of encouragement with a splash of laughter.
