The West Coast Trail is part of the ancient paths and paddling routes used for trade and travel by people of the First Nations.

Suited for experienced hikers, the trail challenges hikers to navigate steep slopes, rocky shorelines, muddy irregular trails as well as over 100 ladders while often in wet or foggy conditions.

Today, over 7,500 backpackers from across the world come to hike the West Coast Trail every year to experience this epic adventure.
