I liked the idea of not having to do it all in one day. People could go as far as they wanted and were able to run/hike within their limitations. I actually really enjoyed my few hours hanging out at Phantom Ranch while I was waiting for our room. I had lots of conversations with other people that were either hiking in or out that afternoon or had just got in from the river rafting tours. I met some really interesting and friendly people. Not sure if you were looking for that as a comment or not? I liked having the radios so we had an idea of where everyone was in the canyon for most of it.

I have attended four Freestyle Fitness Epic Events the last couple of years (Grand Canyon twice, West Coast Trail, Newfoundland bike trip). Each trip has been outstanding with every detail planned for me. All I had to do was show up and enjoy the experiences! The communication was excellent. Pre-event meetings and emails detailing all the specific information related to the trip such as activities, accommodations, and meals ensured I knew exactly what was happening each day. Because of the small group size you receive individualized attention and assistance (eg help with bike mechanical issues). Freestyle Fitness events are extremely reasonably priced. I appreciate the costs being kept low without sacrificing quality or attention to detail. I am looking forward to the next Epic Adventure in July 2019 - Newfoundland!

Hotel was great. Was very happy to be able to travel with the group I was with, made it very easy for me. I didn’t contribute to planning or help with anything😬 but Janice seemed like she had it all under control - meeting time, getting to the airport, rental car, directions to the canyon. I just followed. I was very appreciative. The canyon is amazing. The scenery is like no other. Loved the breakfast location the morning we left. That was a perfect spot and a great way to finish the weekend. I think that’s it. It was an extremely fast 4 days with very little sleep. All mornings were extremely early and the days were packed. For the little time I was there, I feel like I really got to experience the canyon. Even up part of the North side.

I had an amazing time on the Yukon/Alaska cycling trip! It was so much more than I expected. It was as much mentally challenging as physically challenging, maybe even more so. I gained a new appreciation for nature especially the strength of the wind!
